This training was designed by me, Sandrine, in 2015 and has been updated since then through

my years of practice, teaching, and learning.

Deepening and refining one’s practice by playing the edges of effort and ease, exploring balance between surrender and control, and opening to self-understanding and self-transformation.

Receiving assistance in a yoga posture can be a wonderful experience. Assistance is often linked to a great massage!

This course has been designed so that you can help your yoga students (and yourself!) go beyond

their body's limits, and their fears, leading them to explore and feel their body like never before.

When guiding your students on a physical (and mental) journey, it is important for them to be safe and confident, and for that, you need to acquire the necessary tools to do this like the professional you are.

Training content:

  • Breath and movement - Bandhas and Ujjayi breathing

  • The art of adjusting and assisting:

    • Difference between adjusting and assisting

    • What posture for the teacher?

    • Amount of pressure

    • Working with and against gravity

    • Deepening into a posture

    • Coming in and out of the posture with confidence and mindfulness

    • Use of props and walls for adjustments and asana modifications

  • Anatomy of Yoga:

    • Skeletal and Muscular System

    • Tension and Compression Concept: your body your yoga - body's limits and restrictions

    • Postural alignment - How to make a good adjustment?

  • Thai Yoga Massage: seated, backends, and supine sequences

  • Partner Yoga with Thai Massage Sequence - ​Experience the feeling of both giving and receiving a    Thai Yoga Therapeutic Massage!

  • Energy Healing:

    • Scientific facts about energy, and overview of 3 chakras: hip, heart, and throat chakra.

    • Heart and hip openers - Emotion and energy flow release

We will adjust and assist postures from different categories (standing, seated, twists, backbends).
